West Ham v Manchester City Results (Matchweek 1)

A tremendous display of talent by Man City today! Match ended 5-nil with City showing off why they are champions. Tremendous individual performance by Raheem Sterling, who grabbed his first hat-trick of the season. West Ham showed no enthusiasm throughout the game and fell quickly against a fast-paced City.

Pep Guardiola surely expected nothing less from his side. Great individual performances by David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, and Mahrez. Let’s not forget the critical saves Ederson made throughout the game.

Today’s lineup did not include Bernardo Silva surprisingly as Guardiola decided to rest him for this match. No debut for Cancelo, but Hernandez did start and played with purpose.
